🏗️ Image-to-Speech Generative AI Application
Serverless generative AI application using Amazon SageMaker and Hugging Face that converts images to text descriptions and then to speech. Featured at re:Invent 2022 Builders Fair and published as AWS Solutions Guidance.
Problem Solved
Accessibility for visually impaired users requires converting visual content to audio descriptions. Traditional solutions were complex and not scalable.
Technical Approach
Containerized and deployed the OFA model from Hugging Face on SageMaker. Built serverless application architecture for image processing, text generation, and speech synthesis.
Key Achievements
Published AWS blog post, showcased at re:Invent 2022 Builders Fair, and contributed to official AWS Solutions Guidance for image-to-text and image-to-speech implementations.
What I Learned
Containerizing Hugging Face models for SageMaker deployment, balancing cost vs. latency in serverless ML architectures, and presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences at re:Invent.

A collection of specialized AI agents built with Amazon Q Developer (now Kiro), including solution architects, security guardians, and DevOps specialists. Featured on AWS She Builds!

Developers need specialized AI assistance for different domains - architecture, security, DevOps, and more. Generic AI assistants lack the focused expertise needed for complex technical decisions.
Technical Approach
Created custom agent personas with specialized knowledge bases, prompt engineering, and MCP integrations. Built coordination system for multi-agent workflows.

📰 Intelligent Content Aggregator
Serverless content aggregation platform that combines RSS feeds, GitHub activity, and social media into personalized daily digests. Uses Amazon Bedrock to generate concise summaries of each URL, making it easier to stay current with technology trends.
Problem Solved
Staying current with technology trends requires monitoring multiple sources. Manual aggregation is time-consuming and reading every article is overwhelming.
Technical Approach
Built serverless architecture with Lambda functions for content collection, Amazon Bedrock for AI-powered summarization, and SNS for notifications. Each URL gets a concise summary to help users quickly identify relevant content.
Current Status
Active development - adding SNS subscription management, expanding RSS search terms, and refining Bedrock prompts for better summaries.
What I Learned
Designing effective prompts for AI summarization, managing serverless event-driven architectures, and building systems that balance automation with user control.
📚 Technical Portfolio Workshop
Comprehensive 90-minute workshop teaching developers how to build professional portfolios using GitHub Pages, with three learning paths including AI-powered development with Amazon Q Developer.
Problem Solved
Early career developers need professional online presence but lack guidance on building portfolios. Traditional workshops are too long or require too many prerequisites.
Technical Approach
Created multi-path workshop supporting local development, Q Developer AI-assisted building, and GitHub Pages deployment. Includes templates, Q Developer workflow rules, and comprehensive delivery guide.
Impact
Designed for re:Invent All Builders Welcome workshop. Enables participants to leave with working portfolio in 90 minutes regardless of their tool access or experience level.
